Round Valley Trail
Length: 7.1 miles
Trail Type: Multiple Loops

Round Valley provides awesome trails for all skill levels, so whether the kids are beginners or want to try out their skills on more advanced trails, you will find the perfect loop. The whole family will delight in the stunning landscape, full of wildflowers, low brush, and lots of sunshine! 

Trailside Park Loop
Length: 1.2 miles                                            
Trail Type: Loop  

Trailside Park is a mecca for mountain adventures, including mountain biking. The park offers a wealth of short loops, jump trails, and more. However, if you want to teach the little ones some proper two-wheel skills, the Trailside loop is an excellent trail for honing their basic talents. Expect an easy-to-navigate single track on packed dirt through low sagebrush.

RTS Loop
Length: 2.3 miles
Trail Type: Loop 

RTS is located just below Utah Olympic Park and boasts incredible scenery and dirt tracks. The slopes are mellow, the trail is smooth, and the turns are gradual, making this trail one of the best to learn how to handle a bike. Even at a slow pace, this loop can be completed in an hour, so there is plenty of time to practice.

Historic Rail Trail
Length: 28 miles
Trail Type: Out and Back

This historic trail runs along an old Union Pacific railroad track dating back to the 1880s. It offers plenty of trailheads, making it the “choose your own adventure” of biking trails. Access from two convenient locations in Park City, either the Downtown Trailhead or the Prospector Park Trailhead. No matter where you start the ride with the kids, you’ll encounter easily-navigable bikeways, gorgeous sights (like wildflowers, sandhill cranes, and wetlands), and a little bit of history along the way.

McLeod Creek Trail
Length: 4 miles
Trail Type: Out and Back

Explore some of the most iconic parts of Park City on this easy-but-exhilarating biking adventure. Take off from downtown, cruise along the beautiful McLeod Creek, then continue past the historic McPolin Farm. You’ll also encounter an interactive musical sculpture and more surprises along the way.
