Park City Lodging has been a supporter of the Living for Open Space program since its inception. Accredited by the Land Trust Alliance, the Summit Land Conservancy began the program in 2005 to further its mission of preserving local open spaces. The program allows businesses to contribute to saving land through the collection of small donations from our guests. Park City Lodging guests contribute $1 per room night to protecting local open spaces. To date the program has raised more than $350,000 toward protecting open spaces!
We are proud sponsors of Mountain Trails Foundation’s Adopt-a-Trail program, which is dedicated to building, maintaining, and protecting trails for non-motorized recreation in the Park City area.
Creating and maintaining a seamless, year-round trail system is a monumental undertaking. In conjunction with other local organizations, including efforts from open-space advocates such as Summit Land Conservancy, Mountain Trails Foundation has created one of the most extensive, continuous trail systems in the nation.
Recycle Utah is a nonprofit organization committed to reducing waste and preventing groundwater pollution in our community. As long as the health of our local and global environment is a concern, they will strive to offer community-based resources and solutions. Park City Lodging proudly joined the Green Business Program when it was initiated in 2015 and was awarded the first ever Green Business of the Year in 2017.

The retreats are designed to empower women to live fully beyond breast cancer through rejuvenation of the spirit. With the help of our owners, we are proud to provide healing spaces for these inspiring retreats.
Every holiday season, in lieu of a holiday gift, our homeowners have the opportunity to designate a local non-profit of their choice to receive a donation from Park City Lodging on their behalf. Featured non-profits vary each year but include Utah Open Lands, Paws for Life, The People's Health Clinic, Peace House, Image Reborn, Women's Giving Fund, and more.

Each January we eagerly await the largest independent film festival in the US: the Sundance Film Festival. Sundance is only possible with the help of volunteers who share a commitment to supporting independent film and theater. Park City Lodging is an official lodging provider, ensuring that the nearly 2,000 volunteers who travel to support the festival have a place to call home.
Since our founding in 1984, Park City Lodging has been proud stewards of environmental and social responsibility in the Park City community. Our commitment to sustainable practices in hospitality is at the forefront of our business. Here’s how we implement sustainable practices in our everyday operations:
Gift reusable grocery bags to rental guests upon check-in.
Use environmentally-friendly toiletries and amenities in each of our vacation rental homes.
Offer bulk amenities of custom blended shampoo, conditioner, and lotion to reduce waste from single-use packaging.
Support Summit Land Conservancy’s Living for Open Space (to date, we’ve raised more than $380,000!).
Participate in Park City’s community clean-up days.
Support local nonprofits via our Gift Giving initiative.
We truly believe in cultivating a conscious attitude toward sustainability practices, while also bettering the community and the environment in which we live, work, and play.
In 2016, our President and Founder Rhonda Sideris realized a dream long in the making with the completion of our new energy efficient office building. The building harnesses as much natural light as possible to reduce lighting and heating needs, and features an impressive 52 solar panels to offset power consumption. The laundry facility utilizes an ozonator to reduce water, energy, and detergent consumption. High efficiency HVAC and windows decrease energy consumption and our carbon footprint. The building includes four employee housing apartments and an organic co-op garden on the roof managed by tenants, as well as staff and their families.
