On any given day, William J. Kranstover can be found at his gallery in Peoa, Utah deepening his practice. Kranstover began painting at an early age and continued throughout college at the University of Wisconsin. He has taught art throughout the world and continues to do so today in Utah.
His works are colorful, imaginative and relevant. His color and composition border on abstract and realism, inviting the viewers to wander into the paintings. Kranstover is an ardent supporter of community and his work reflects Park City and the surrounding area. He has received the prestigious Meritorious Service Award for art in community. Kranstover has also received numerous awards for his paintings and sculptures.
Stroll on in to Park City Lodging’s 820 Park Avenue location on August 31st, from 6-9pm. 20 pieces of William J. Kranstover’s art will be on display. His newest series explores Park City’s Old Town landscapes. Meet the artist for a glimpse into the process undertaken to arrive at such inspiring, colorful, imaginative works of art. Bites & beverages will be included.
