Complete Guide to Après Skiing in Park City
Yes, you can drink in Utah and yes they have more than 3.2% ABW beer. As a matter of fact, Park City holds the Guinness World Record for the longest shot-ski in the world. Whether looking for a local microbrew, a craft cocktail, or a glass of your favorite wine, Park City has an après scene for everyone.
We have broken down our favorite places to après by location: Deer Valley, Park City’s Main Street, Park City Mountain & Canyons Village.

St. Regis Bar and Lounge is located in the Snow Park area of Deer Valley. Take the funicular up from Snow Park or stop in from the ski in/ ski out access off Deer Hollow ski run. They are known for their 7452 Mary, which features locally distilled vodka from High West Distillery and a wasabi-celery foam on top. The drink gets its name from the altitude that the bar sits. If you aren’t a fan of Bloody Marys, they have an extensive wine list and plenty of craft cocktails to choose from. If you are there for sunset, you will be treated to a champagne sabering near the outdoor fire.
Royal Street Café is located at Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Lodge. If you are skiing at Deer Valley Resort or staying in one of our properties in the Silver Lake area it is worth stopping in for one of their award-winning cocktails. A personal favorite is their blueberry mojito. While the drink may sound summery, I assure you it is good year round.
Vista Lounge is located in the Empire area of Deer Valley at the Montage. Easily accessible from the slopes at Deer Valley. Comfortably gather with friends or family in front of roaring fireplaces with stunning views of Park City and the surrounding mountains. They often have tremendous musicians playing. Their menu features classic handcrafted cocktails like the Sazerac and Moscow Mule, but don’t shy away from their award-winning Mountain Derby. The cocktail is a concoction of fresh grapefruit juice, lavender/chamomile honey, lemon juice, and Woodford Reserve.

O’Shucks
Main Street
Old Town Cellars (OTC) is located on lower main at 890 Main Street. If you are finishing your day at Town Lift, stroll across the bridge into the doors of Old Town Cellars. The private label winery sources fine wine from the top growing regions and is blended in house by co-founder and sommelier Stephen MacKay. Warm up after a day on the slopes with some tastings and take your favorite wine home to the hot tub. Or order a glass and give their charcuterie board from Beltex Meats a try. Don’t pass up Old Town Cellars, after all, it is the Official Wine of Après.
No Name Saloon is centrally located at 447 Main Street. No Name is a landmark and arguably the most popular bar on Main Street. Known for their buffalo burgers, they have three full bars, an impressive whiskey list and plenty of beer (bottled and draft.) Built in 1903, the historic saloon’s walls are covered with relics. Stay warm by the wood burning fireplace or the upstairs has an outdoor patio complete with heaters. This place is colorful, both in the décor and the local regulars that hang out there.
O’Shucks is located directly next door to No Name Saloon. If handcrafted cocktails and a posh ambiance isn’t your scene, you will feel at home at “Shucks.” Order yourself a 32 oz schooner for $6.50 and a schooner of peanuts to go with it. Yes, it’s okay to toss the peanut shells on the floor. This bar is where many of the local staff go to unwind from their day of bumping chairlifts, teaching ski lessons, or ski patrolling. Chances are one or more patrons will still be wearing their ski boots by the time you get there.
High West Distillery is located just off Main Street at 703 Park Avenue. Just feet from Town Lift, this is the only ski-in/ski-out distillery. What once was a small operation has become an internationally-recognized brand. High West’s Saloon is built in an historic livery stable turned garage turned distillery. If it’s your first time here, give the High West Flight a try. If you are familiar with High West whiskeys then you’ve come to the right place. Give the Dead Man’s Boots a try. If whiskey isn’t your speed they also distill their own vodka. High West Saloon fills up quickly, so get there early.
Other notable drink spots on Main Street include, Handle (just off Main St.), Fletcher’s, Flannigan’s, 412 Bistro, The Spur, O.P. Rockwell’s, Wasatch Brew Pub and Rock & Reilly’s.

Pig Pen Saloon is at the base of Park City Mountain. Finish your day on the Home Run ski run, pop off your skis or board and head in to Pig Pen Saloon. Unsurprisingly, several of their cocktails feature bacon. There is the Bacon Bloody Mary which is comprised of ghost pepper vodka, house Bloody Mary mix, bacon salt, and of course a bacon garnish or try the B.B.C. which is Jim Beam, bacon, cocoa, and Frangelico. Pig Pen Saloon is unpretentious and perfect for that old school après feel.
Corner Store is a true classic located at the base of Park City Mountain. With 30 years of après ski action under their belt, they know how to do it right. During sunny afternoons their patio is bustling with live music 4-6 days a week. It is a spot that locals and visitors enjoy alike.

Red Tail Grill is located on the Ski Beach at Canyons Village. It’s the perfect spot to grab a cold one after a day on the hill. Nestled between the Red Pine Gondola and Orange Bubble, Red Tail Grill has fantastic views of the mountains and is great for watching the end of the day antics as tired legs bring people down the hill.
Umbrella Bar just down the way from Red Tail Grill the Umbrella Bar is impossible to miss in the center of Canyons Village Plaza. If you just want a cold beer after a day on the slopes, this is your spot with 360 degree views from inside its unique glass enclosure. They do have an extensive beer list both craft and draft, but you will not find any hard liquor here.
Drafts is a short stroll past the Umbrella Bar on the edge of the Canyons Village Plaza. Given the name, most would assume it’s all about beer. While they do have over 50 beers from around the world they also have a full bar complete with adult milkshakes. This place gets crowded as the lifts shut down and during sporting events. If you need to refuel after a day on the hill, they have a dazzling array of pub food from burgers, wings, to stone-hearth pizzas.
