While many adventurers flock to Park City in search of winter powder, summer thrill-seekers can find their fix on two wheels. Recently Park City mountain biking has received notable marks from IMBA, Singletracks.com, and DirtRag Magazine for its impeccable trail quality. Most notably Park City was named the world’s first Gold-Level Certified Ride Center by IMBA. But why should this matter to you? The award reflects more than just the 400+ miles of trail, it represents quality lodging, restaurants, and post ride entertainment.

Looking for a little more burn?

Take advantage of some of Park City’s challenging—and cheaper—mountain biking options. One local favorite is the Park City town loop that covered seven miles of glorious trail. Start off Lowell Avenue and head to the Sweeney Switchbacks toward the top of the Town Lift. Drop into John’s Trail, which will test your technical skills and offer a challenge. Finalize your ride with a climb onto the Gravedigger’s Trail before heading back into town.

When planning a mountain biking vacation to Park City, make sure to visit Park City Lodging for your rental needs. With locations at both Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort, you’re sure to find your own biker’s paradise.
