There are plenty of things to do in Park City besides enjoying our two amazing ski resorts, and one of them is experiencing a Utah Olympic Park bobsled ride! Utah Olympic Park was featured worldwide as the venue for bobsled, skeleton, luge, ski jumping, and Nordic combined at the 2002 Winter Olympics and is conveniently located just a few miles from the heart of Park City. What to Expect on the Utah Olympic Park Bobsled Course

You’ll never experience excitement quite like this. A professional pilot takes three passengers on a heart-stopping ride down the 2002 Olympic course, reaching speeds of up to 60 mph in less than a minute. The experience costs $200* per person.. Riders must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 100 lbs. Reservations are required—book your experience online.

Other Activities at Utah Olympic Park

In addition to the Park City Olympic bobsled experience, the park offers a number of other activities that recall the legacy of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Enjoy free admission to the Alf Engen Ski Museum and the Eccles Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games Museum, located in the Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center.

 

For only $15* (youths and seniors $12*), enjoy a one-hour guided tour of the Utah Olympic Park. You’ll take a shuttle bus to the very top of the world’s highest Nordic ski jumps and one of the fastest sliding tracks in the world. Your guide will share a wealth of information about the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, bringing the Olympic experience to life!

 

Utah Olympic Park also hosts a number of other adventurous activities, including a zip line, drop tower, and three adventure ropes courses. Check their website to explore all of the offerings.

 

Many current and aspiring Olympians train year-round at Utah Olympic Park, and you can watch them free of charge! Get a glimpse of the same athletes that you cheer for every four years. Training times vary, so call (435) 658-4200 for current schedules.

How to Get to Utah Olympic Park

The Utah Olympic Park bobsled course is located about seven miles north of downtown Park City. To get there, take Utah State Route 224 north towards I-80—the entrance to the park will be located on your left shortly before you reach the interstate.
