Property Highlight – Kimball Junction
Park City’s vibrant Main Street deservedly gets a lot of attention, with its shops, galleries, restaurants, clubs and vibe. There’s another neighborhood in Park City that also offers a distinctive variety of appealing attractions – Kimball Junction. Built up alongside the pristine expanse of the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, Kimball Junction encompasses unique opportunities for shopping, dining and adventure, all on the free area shuttle route.
Some of our favorite restaurants are in Kimball Junction. For delicious sushi and eclectic pan-Asian lunches and dinners (and a full bar featuring sake) try out Sushi Blue. Ghidotti’s is great for classic Italian in an elegant, romantic yet relaxed atmosphere. Often featuring live music and always serving a delicious and contemporary menu, Hearth and Hill is a must-do.
Hop on the free area shuttle to get to the slopes of Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort, or you can walk to or take the shuttle to activities nearby. The thrill of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games is perpetual at the Utah Olympic Park. Explore the interactive exhibits at the Alf Engen Ski Museum and George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games Museum, with free admission. Or, go for the authentic G-force sensation of the Winter Bobsled Experience.
Park City’s newest resort is Woodward Park City. In addition to the very popular Tubing Park, Woodward Park City offers action sports opportunities, both indoors in the 66,000 sq. ft. facility and out on the slopes, for all ages, all year.
