Ride Park City Mountain Bike Trails

Updated June 2026

With more than 400 miles of world-class trails, Park City is truly a mountain biker’s paradise. (And we’re not just saying that because we love the trails.) The region has earned its reputation as a premier riding destination, including recognition as the first Gold-Level Ride Center in the United States. That reputation comes to life each summer as thousands of riders head to Park City to experience everything from scenic cross-country routes to challenging alpine singletrack, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

To make the most of your trip, Park City Lodging offers vacation rentals throughout Deer Valley, Park City Mountain, Canyons Village, and downtown Park City. Stay close to the action and access Park City’s best mountain biking trails from your vacation home. Below are some of our favorite trails to explore during your stay.

Mid-Mountain Trail

Difficulty: Intermediate

Distance: 26 miles

A signature Park City mountain bike experience, the Mid-Mountain Trail is an ideal place to begin your ride. It offers multiple access points across all three Park City resorts, depending on where you're staying. This high-elevation singletrack sits around 8,000 feet and showcases sweeping views of Park City along the way. Riders pass through shaded forests, open meadows, and ridgelines on this IMBA-certified Epic Ride.

Several other Park City bike trails connect to the Mid-Mountain Trail, allowing you to design your own loop rides or explore other routes. You can pick up the start of the trail from Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley Resort or access it from other nearby trails like Spiro, Armstrong, Sweeney North, Sweeney South, and Daly Canyon.

Jenni’s Trail

Difficulty: Intermediate

Distance: 5.1 miles

Jenni’s Trail is one of the most popular routes at Park City Mountain Resort. It runs from the base area up to the top of the Payday Lift, offering a steady climb with scenic forest views, smooth switchbacks, and seasonal wildflowers. Please note that Jenni’s is a mixed-use trail and operates as uphill-only for cyclists until the CMG intersection, after which it becomes two-way access.

For a more relaxed experience, riders can take the Payday Lift to the top and enjoy a mostly downhill ride back to the base area.

Park City Town Loop

Difficulty: Expert

Distance: 7 miles

The Park City Town Loop is not a single trail but a connected route linking several of the area’s best-known trails for a challenging ride around town. Starting on Lowell Avenue, riders climb the Sweeney Switchbacks toward the Town Lift before continuing onto John’s Trail, a technical descent that demands strong bike handling skills. The route continues with a climb on Gravedigger Trail before finishing with a ride back into town through Daly Canyon.
