Our Favorite Ski Trails At Park City Mountain

Park City Mountain Resort is one of the most popular ski and snowboard resorts in the country. As you plan your time on Park City Mountain’s famous slopes, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery dotted with historic mining buildings, check out some of our favorite trails for all ability levels. There’s a run for everyone at Park City Mountain!

Best Green Trails at Park City Mountain

Two children skiing.

  • Home Run: Named because it stretches 3.5 miles from the top of the Bonanza lift all the way to the base area, Home Run is a perfect way for beginners to get a look at a number of different areas of Park City Mountain.
  • Claim Jumper: Serviced by the hi-speed Silverlode Six-Pack and Crescent Four-Pack, turn laps on this groomed cruiser, or if you’d like a longer run, connect with Broadway down to the bottom of the King Con lift.

Best Blue Trails at Park City Mountain

  • King Con Area: An intermediate skier’s paradise, the King Con lift offers 14 different blue and double-blue trails. You could spend the whole day here and not take the same run twice!
  • Single Jack: Cruise down Single Jack, accessed from the Thaynes, Bonanza, or Motherload lifts, and get a close-up look at Park City’s mining history.
  • Georgeanna: While your crazier friends tackle McConkey’s Bowl, enjoy Georgeanna. The top of McConkey's marks the boundary between Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain; take in one of the most breathtaking views on the mountain overlooking the Heber and Midway Valley! For more of a challenge, finish the run by taking on the steep finish of Tycoon.

Best Black Trails at Park City Mountain

Skier going down hill on trail.

  • Jupiter Lift: There’s always untouched powder to be found off of the Jupiter lift, especially if you’re willing to hike up to Scott’s Bowl or Pinecone Ridge.
  • Fool’s Gold: Fool’s Gold offers some bumps with a pitch that’s perfect for someone just getting comfortable in the moguls. To find some powder, duck into the trees of Motherlode Meadows to the left of the trail.
  • Blue Slip Bowl: This previously off-limits bowl got its name from the former Park City Mountain employees who were caught ducking the ropes and handed the resort’s version of a pink slip at the bottom. Now open to all, enjoy the trail so good that people were willing to risk their jobs over it.
