1. Homestead Crater

Location: Midway, UT

Distance: 18 miles from Park City, via US-189/US-40 E

If you are visiting Park City, make this short trek to Midway for an unforgettable hot springs experience. Homestead Crater, a geothermal hot spring, has quite a history. It’s more than 10,000 years old and formed as snow melted from our Wasatch Mountains that trickled deep underground. The result? A mineral-rich pool of soothing warm waters concealed within a 55-foot limestone rock dome. Soak, swim, scuba dive, or even enjoy a paddleboard yoga class in this one-of-a-kind Utah adventure. Homestead Crater’s tropical temps and 94-degree water means you can enjoy this luxurious experience year-round. Plus, it's great for families! Make sure to check their calendar for availability and book your reservation well in advance.

3. Inlet Park Hot Springs

Location: Saratoga Springs, UT

Distance: 55 miles from Park City, via I-80 W and I-15 S

This free, public hot spring is rustic, low-key, and serene. While the geothermal pool is expansive—40-feet wide and 50-feet across—the depth is a shallow three feet making it ideal for sitting, soaking, and tuning into nature. You’ll want to bring all your own gear, like towels and a change of clothes. The bottom of the springs is mud rich, so you might want to clean off before getting back in the car.
