Spring Weather in Park City

Spring in Park City is truly magical. In March, Park City offers some of the best powder days of the year! The bluebird skies and longer days set the stage for an abundance of live music and après ski sessions on repeat. The enchantment continues into April, offering visitors the joy of late-season skiing mixed with warm sunny days. By May, the Park City trails burst to life with vibrant spring foliage, and the golf courses welcome enthusiasts around Memorial Day.

Spring also offers a wealth of indoor and outdoor recreation opportunities for non-skiers:

Highs/Lows: Temperatures in March range from 43˚F to 25˚F. In April, Park City starts warming up, with highs averaging 51˚F to lows averaging 31˚F. May’s temps range from 61˚F to 38˚F.

Summer Weather in Park City

The sun comes out in its full glory, wildflowers are in bloom, and precipitation gives way to a more arid climate. Rain dwindles to only a 14% to16%  chance in June, July, and August. This time of year is perfect for splashing around in the water, dining al fresco, and exploring mountain scenery. Some of our most loved summer excursions are:

Highs/Lows: Our mountain climate helps keep our summer days comfortable. You can expect highs to average between 75˚F and 81˚F. The lows are a pleasant 40˚F to 50˚F. Even though our summer temps don’t climb too high, our elevation is still 7,000 feet above sea level, so stock up on sunscreen.

Fall Weather in Park City

As summer temps give way to brisk air, our fall forests blaze in red, yellow, and gold hues. Snow days in September are near zero and minimal in October, making autumn great for outdoor enjoyment. Scenic drives are a relaxing way to enjoy fall colors, and hot air balloon rides give you a birds-eye view of autumn splendors. For other outdoor amusements, the weather is perfect for:

Highs/Lows: Like spring, fall conditions vary. Plan for daytime temperatures around 70˚F at the start of September, then dropping to 42˚F by November. The evenings average 43˚F to 23˚F.
