Make Sure to Stop By the Kimball Art Center

A hub for art and culture in Park City since 1976, the Kimball Art Center provides visitors with a wide array of exhibits, as well as classes and events. During your trip to Park City, pay a visit to the Kimball Art Center and enjoy their free admission, seven days a week.

Kimball Art Center Exhibits

The exhibits at the Kimball Art Center change frequently, and have recently ranged from paintings of the Wasatch Mountains to an exhibition of street graffiti art.

Currently, the Kimball Art Center is featuring three exhibitions of pieces by women artists as part of “100% Women.” Below is a brief summary of each exhibition.

  • Out of Sight / In the Mind: Artists Bonnie Sucec and Susan Beck do collaborative paintings and drawings. One describes her work to the other over the phone and then the two each do their own version of the painting.
  • Susan Cofer: Drawings from 1977-2006: Susan Cofer draws layer after layer of vertical lines on paper that eventually build up to create abstract patterns.
  • Lost in Translation: Artist Sandra Doore explores “texting” and how the sending of messages affects the sense of self.
