Visit Our Three Beautiful Ski Resorts in Park City

Nestled in the heart of the Wasatch Range, Park City boasts three gorgeous and first class ski resorts all within six miles of each other. Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and Canyons Resort all offer some of the best skiing on Earth, but they each have their own unique attributes. As you make your winter ski plans, come and enjoy the fantastic ski resorts in Park City!

Park City Mountain Resort

Located right near the center of Park City, Park City Mountain Resort has plenty of trails for skiers of all ability levels and will offer an upgraded experience this ski season after its purchase by Vail Resorts this fall.

Featuring eight peaks, nine bowls and more than 3,000 acres of skiing, you could spend days at Park City and still not ski all of it.

No need to split up your group in the lift line either. Unique among the ski resorts in Park City, PCMR offers three high-speed “six-packs” – six-person chairlifts that allow you to stick together on your way to the top of the mountain.

Locals Tip: Beat the crowds by grabbing lunch at the Mid-Mountain Lodge, which served more than 1,000 miners a day back in Park City’s mining days. The historic building was renovated and moved in one piece to its current location near the base of the Pioneer and McConkey’s lifts, where it serves up sandwiches, soups and the famous Mid-Mountain Burger to hungry skiers and snowboarders.

Deer Valley Resort

The poshest of the three ski resorts in Park City, Deer Valley offers an upscale, but not snobby, ski experience that perennially puts it near the top of the annual rankings of the best resorts in North America.

Deer Valley’s famously well-groomed blue terrain is a utopia for intermediate skiers, and more than a quarter of its trails are for beginners, giving new skiers a chance to see almost every part of the resort. Experts will be happy too, with beautiful glades, open bowls and thrilling steeps.

Customer service is a major focus at Deer Valley with ski valets to help you unload your car, tissues (and sometimes cookies!) in the lift lines and complimentary overnight ski storage, in addition to offering some of the best resort food in the country. Relax in Deer Valley’s luxury; you won’t regret it!

Locals Tip: While at Deer Valley, try their world famous turkey chili, and if you like it, buy the mix for a cheap price and continue to enjoy best dish out of all the ski resorts in Park City when you get home!

Canyons Resort

Offering more terrain than any of the ski resorts in Park City, recent renovations have made Canyons Resort one of the hottest ski areas in the country. With 182 trains spread out across 4,000 acres, you will always be able to escape the crowds at Canyons.

Canyons is an expert skier’s paradise, with almost 50 percent of its terrain categorized as black and double black, but there are still plenty of trails for the less adventurous. Enjoy outstanding views as you ride the Red Pine Gondola up over the canyons that serve as the namesake for the resort and then head straight to the slopes!

Like Park City, Canyons is run by Vail Resorts and both ski areas are members of the Epic Pass, which allows skiers to buy four-day, seven-day or season-long passes that are good for skiing at both resorts.

Locals Tip: Head to the Day Break, Dreamscape and Dreamcatcher lifts, where the crowds are small and the skiing is great!
