The Park City ski season is just a little over a month away and its presence is being felt. With huge snow projections filling our news feed and the hype of the “New” Park City, it’s hard to ignore the sound of winter knocking on Park City’s door. A buzz can be felt as you walk Park City’s historic Main Street. Town chatter has turned from summer BBQ’s and music festivals to new gear and who’s skiing where. Yesterday I found myself staring blankly at Park City’s Town Lift and imagined myself making deep, powder overhead, turns through the trees of McConkey’s Bowl. It’s the pursuit of these day dreams that brought me to Utah in the first place. Don’t get me wrong this summer and fall have been among my favorites but I long for powder filled mornings. Luckily we don’t have to wait much longer.
