Park City Summer Concert Series

If you happen to look at an events calendar for Park City during the summer months you may notice the overwhelming amount of live music that takes place in our small town. With what seems to be a new concert every night it’s hard to distinguish the different concert series and what music you might expect to hear. With the majority of the concerts taking place at Deer Valley Resort’s Snow Park Amphitheater you can bank on two things: great music and great food. Bring a cooler or picnic basket to almost any concert venue in Park City, relax for a few hours with family and friends and rock like the locals.

Deer Valley Music Festival

The Deer Valley Music Festival is the summer home to the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera. Besides chamber and classical music the Deer Valley Music Festival brings in pop offerings like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Smokey Robinson and Diana Krall. With three venues located at Deer Valley Resort’s Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, St. Mary’s Church and Temple Har Shalom, performances are matched with stage acoustics to create an epic listening experience for guests. Chamber performances usually take place during weekdays in the intimate settings of St. Mary’s Church and Temple Har Shalom.

This year the Deer Valley Music Festival is celebrating its 11th anniversary and has a star studded line up. For performances at Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater feel free to bring food, wine, blankets and low rise chairs, under 9”, for a picnic style venue. If you want a more catered experience Deer Valley Resort offers a selection of gourmet picnic baskets and bags for purchase. All concerts are held rain or shine. Dogs are not allowed.

For added convenience Park City Lodging, Inc. sells concert tickets at each front desk location: Park Station, Edelweiss Haus, and Prospector.
