This scenic drive is the gateway for many popular hikes overlooking both Park City and Big Cottonwood Canyon. The road isn’t plowed in the winter, making this a perfect summer and autumn escape from the heat.

There are multiple vantage points that will take your breath away along Guardsman. You can see Heber Valley, Snyderville Basin near Park City, and the Salt Lake Valley. Guardsman Pass is dog-friendly, so feel free to take Fido for a hike to the numerous lakes in the surrounding area.
