If you’re interested in gaining additional certifications or finessing your personal culinary skills, Park City Culinary Institute collaborates with some of the best chefs in the country to offer classes, demonstrations and private dining experiences. Classes take take place at the Deer Valley Club, in one of the original catering kitchens for Deer Valley Resort. The facility features Go-Pro cameras and flat-screen TVs, a Wolf range, both conventional and convection ovens, a French top, grill, Hobart mixer, commercial dishwasher and several walk-ins. Tuition is $6,495 for eight weeks to experience 160 hours with notable executive chefs. Park City Lodging is a preferred lodging host for these programs.

Techniques that you will learn include professional knife handling and technical cuts, stocks and sauces, classic techniques, filleting and butchering, trussing poultry, seafood and shellfish, the art of presentation, awakening the five senses, local product origins and seasons, food science basics and forming emulsions, vegan and gluten free variations, international ingredients and spices, high-altitude baking, introduction to chocolate and precision and efficiency in the kitchen.
