Although Park City has long been known as an Alpine skiing mecca, our Nordic Skiing trail system is extensive and varied. It has truly become a world class Nordic system that rivals the best in the country. Park City boasts over 120 kilometers of groomed and ungroomed trails. Most of these trails are regularly groomed and provide winter recreational opportunities such as cross country and skate skiing, snowshoeing and snow riding (bikes). And, most of the trail system is free for public use!
Utah Olympic Park
The Utah Olympic Park was built for the 2002 Olympics and is still being used to train future Olympians. The facility offers six Nordic Ski Jumps, a 1,335-meter sliding track, a freestyle aerials winter training and competition hill, and a 750,000-gallon summer freestyle aerial training pool. During the 2002 Olympics the Utah Olympic Park hosted bobsled, skeleton, luge, Nordic ski jumping, and Nordic combined events. Feel the thrill of Olympians while you try out a bobsled or skeleton ride! The Utah Olympic Park has something for everybody.
