Be here when the best extreme skiers and snowboarders descend on Park City next month for the finale of the 2015 US Snowboarding and Freeskiing Grand Prix.
Sochi Olympics gold medalists and Park City natives Sage Kotsenburg and Joss Christensen highlight this year’s competition, and past Grand Prix champions include Shaun White, Louie Vito, Gretchen Bleiler and Kelly Clark.
If the chance to see these amazing athletes throw down insane tricks on PCMR’s famed Eagle Superpipe and King’s Crown terrain park isn’t enough, here’s the best part: admission is FREE!
The US Snowboarding and Freeskiing Grand Prix action heats up at night, so hit the slopes yourself during the day at one of Park City’s three great resorts and then head over to PCMR when the lifts close.
Halfpipe: Snowboarders and skiers launch themselves off the sides of a giant man-made halfpipe performing tricks in the air that include flips and as many as four full twists! Competitors are judged on how much air they get, the difficulty of their tricks and their execution.
Slopestyle: Snowboarders and skiers ride down a terrain-park style course that features a number of jumps, rails and other features. Competitors are judged by their air, execution, degree of difficulty and their overall run.
