5 Reasons to Bike Park City this Fall

Autumn in Park City, Utah. When the temperatures cool, the town begins to stir, and the mountain biking trails just keep getting better. While Park City is known for its two world class ski resorts and abundant nightlife, you’ll be remembering the pristine bike trails you left behind in the dust. Here are the top 5 reasons to bike Park City this fall.

IMG_56601. Park City was named IMBA’s first gold-level Ride Center in the world. With over 450 miles of bike trails, there’s something here for everyone. Take a crack at Deer Valley Resort’s famous Tidal Wave flow trail or opt for the breathtaking Wasatch Crest Trail.

2. Fall is the perfect time to discover Park City via bike due to the fall foliage. With the turning of the oak and aspen tress, blurs of yellow and red dance along the mountain bike trails. Who thought Park City could get any more beautiful?

3. No one knows how to après-bike like Park City does. Outside Magazine named Park City the “Best Town Ever” in 2013 and we’re pretty sure it has to do with our unrivaled Main Street. Ride all day at Park City Mountain Resort and finish off with a flight of whiskey from High West Distillery. Bike-in/bike-out is the new ski-in/ski-out.IMG_5485

4. Mud season. Yes that’s really a reason. The off-season, as the locals lovingly refer to as mud season, means less people on the trails and more room for you. Enjoy the Mid-Mountain Trail like never before without the crowds or the rush.

5. Our Fall Colors Tour makes biking the autumn in Park City easier than ever before! Park City Lodging, Inc., premier provider of vacation rental and home management services, is excited to announce its new property Park Station 233 for nightly rental.

About the Property: Park City Mountain’s Town Lift has easily become one of Park City’s iconic settings. There aren’t many places in the world where guests and locals can ski or ride from a major ski resort to the towns heart, Main Street. With over 150 restaurants and bars Park City’s Main Street has more restaurants per capita than Paris, France. Talk about après–ski options. Park Station happens to be located only a few hundred yards walk to the base of the Town Lift and the rest of Main Streets action. With one of the largest heated pools in the Main Street area Park Station has become a favorite lodging option for many.

Park Station 233 features over 1,157 square feet of living space with an open floor plan that incorporates 2 beds and 2 baths. With a large kitchen and dining area make sure to dine in at least once during your stay. Park Station 233’s master bedroom has two queen beds and a 36″ TV. The guest bedroom has two twin beds, that can be converted to a king bed with advance notice. Two additional guests can be accommodated thanks to the queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Park Station 233 has a wood burning fireplace surrounded by a large smooth stone hearth. The living room has a 48″ TV with DVD player, prime for a movie night or relaxing after a long day skiing.

Park Station 233 has an incredible view of the pool, courtyard, and Park City Mountain. Other features include an adjoining balcony and full kitchen with dining for 6. Park Station amenities include free wi-fi, parking, coin-op laundry, elevator, outdoor pool and hot tub in winter/summer, and an indoor hot tub and sauna in winter season. Moderate rating.

Our Opinion: If you’re in the market for the ultimate ski-cation make sure to check out Park Station 233. With quick access to Park City Mountain’s Town Lift you can claim the beloved first chair without joining the dawn patrol. With unlimited après–ski options only steps from your condo explore Park City in style. The hot tub, indoor sauna, and heated pool are nice touches too.

Our Advice: A hidden gem this close to Main Street, Town Lift and the best après–ski in Park City won’t be kept secret for long. Book today to take advantage of Park Station 233’s phenomenal location and amenities.
