Ride Park City Mountain Bike Trails

Park City is a mountain biker’s paradise in the summer with hundreds of miles of trails that go around and through our three world class resorts. Every year thousands of mountain bikers come to enjoy riding through the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. Here are some of our favorite Park City mountain bike trails.

Mid-Mountain Trail

A signature Park City mountain bike trail, the Mid-Mountain Trail runs through all three Park City resorts, starting at Deer Valley and running through Park City Mountain Resort before finishing at Canyons. More than 20 miles long with 1,400 feet of altitude change, this trip through the heart of the area has something through for all riders.

A number of other trails connect to the Mid-Mountain Trail, which has an upper-intermediate rating, allowing you to design your own loop rides or other routes. Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley is the start point of the trail, with other good access points being the Spiro, Armstrong, Sweeny North, Sweeney South and Daly Canyon trails. Check out Utah Mountain Biking’s website for more information.

Jenni’s Trail

One of the most popular Park City mountain bike trails for visitors, Jenni’s Trail runs 5.1 miles from the base of Park City Mountain Resort to the top of the Payday Lift. Experienced beginners or intermediates can enjoy an up-and-down route or use Jenni’s Trail to connect to the Mid-Mountain Trail as well as other trails further up the mountain.

If you’re looking for an easy, relaxed ride, ride the Payday Lift up to the top of the mountain and cruise down Jenni’s Trail to the bottom.

Park City Town Loop

This seven-mile loop travels the Sweeney Switchbacks, John’s Trail and Gravedigger Trail providing a good part-day route for visitors.

You begin on Lowell Avenue and take the Sweeney Switchbacks towards the top of the Town Lift before dropping into the challenging John’s Trail that will test your technical skills. Finish off by climbing again on the Gravedigger Tail before cruising back into town through daily canyon. This route is a great taste of some of the best Park City mountain bike trails.
