We will be happy to add ground transportation to your lodging package. The Salt Lake International Airport is 35 miles via smooth, fast highways from Park City (I-80 and then Utah's SR 224). The main transfer options are:
(1) Airport van shuttles: round-trip van transfers which bring you right to your rental property;
(2) Rental Car: a rental car or SUV which you drive and retain use of throughout your stay.

You can print, fill out, and fax back this order form. Please order all lift tickets and transportation a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Note that car rentals can sell out, especially for peak periods and for popular models such as 4x4 SUVs, so it is essential to book your car rentals early if you want to guarantee availability.
"PASSPORT" program with Park City Transportation: when you book our airport van transfer service provided by Park City Transportation, choose (for a modest additional cost) the "PASSPORT" program and you will enjoy unlimited town-wide free taxi service between 10 am and 10 pm (this program is only operational during the ski season). The "PASSPORT" program provides a valuable alternative to the free town shuttle routes since you do not have to follow fixed routes and schedules, etc.
Free Town Shuttle: Most of our properties are located on the extensive free town shuttle routes which connect the three resorts (Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons) with Historic Main Street and other neighborhoods of Park City. If you are staying on or near the shuttle routes you may prefer to do without a rental car. Here are links for more details:

Car Rental: If you choose a rental property which is not on the shuttle routes, or if you intend to drive out of the Park City area (perhaps to enjoy northern Utah's many other great ski resorts), then you will want a rental car. We have very attractive rates available with Enterprise for rental vehicles.
PARKING: before renting a car or SUV, be sure to check that your rental property has the appropriate parking included!! For condominiums, it is even more essential to check on the parking situation before you rent a car; most of our condos that are 2+ bedrooms have a one-car garage or underground parking shared by the entire building, OR often free space outdoor parking for the complex, but the situation does vary with every location and complex. Private homes virtually always have an enclosed garage, but if you are considering more than one rental vehicle check our website or email info@parkcitylodging.com to ask how many vehicles can be parked inside, and how many can fit in the driveway. ALSO, before renting any very large vehicle such as an Expedition or larger van, be sure to check that the property's garage or driveway can accommodate it - not all do here, especially in "old town" where the garages and driveways can be tiny to non-existent and on-street parking is not always possible.... Also, the area around Main Street in historic "old town" Park City has very limited public parking - click here for map of Historic Main Street Parking Zones ( the situation is much improved with new public parking garages just built on Swede Alley, one block from Main St.). If you stay on or near Main St., especially during peak periods, do not assume you will be able to park there easily, or sometimes even at all. During the Sundance Film Festival, for instance, many of us locals stop driving up to "old town" at all because of the traffic and also because of the difficulty parking there. Whenever feasible, many guests who love to stay in "old town" prefer to do without a vehicle and rely upon the paid airport van shuttles plus the ample free public transportation all over most neighborhoods in this valley, including the 3 ski resorts.

Northern Utah's Fabulous Ski Resorts: In addition to our three fabulous mountain resorts which rise above Park City, there are EIGHT other great resorts within a 30 - 60 minute drive of Park City: Sundance, Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, Snowbasin, Wolf Mountain, and Powder Mountain. There are regular ski shuttles going to Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude for a fee (these are separate from Park City's free town shuttle system), but to visit Sundance, Snowbasin, Wolf Mountain, or Powder Mountain you will need a car.
Finally, it is also possible to arrive in Park City via van transfers from the airport and then rent a car in Park City for only a day or two when you want to visit other resorts. This option should be booked in advance since the supply of rental cars within Park City is very limited.
