Park City is a great place to
vacation with your kids. Besides the excellent skiing opportunities, there are a variety of other activities that are great fun for the whole family.
Gorgoza Park
Kids love tubing! This former locals' ski hill has been turned into a tubing park run by the good folks at Park City Mountain Resort. A lift takes you to the top of the hill where you can choose from seven different lanes to ride down. This is a great activity the whole family can enjoy, day or night. Also popular are the mini-snowmobiles, designed specifically for kids. They’ll have a blast as they race around the oval course for nine laps of fun!

Snowshoeing
Snowshoes are easy to use, they simply attach to your hiking boots via some straps and you are set to go tromp around in the snow for hours of fun. Ask around at the local shops to get more information about equipment and where to go. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
Ski School
Ski School is a great way for kids to improve their skiing and make new friends at the same time. It also takes the pressure off parents of having to watch the kids all day, so you can go enjoy the mountain at your own pace. Ski school is offered at all three mountains in the Park City area.
Utah Olympic Center
The site of the 2002 winter Olympics offers some of the most thrilling recreational opportunities around.
The Comet
This bobsled ride will take you down the length of the Olympic bobsled track at up to 80 miles per hour! The four person sleds are piloted by an experienced driver.
The Quicksilver Alpine Slide
If you’ve never experienced the thrill of an alpine slide, here’s your chance. This slick new track bobs and weaves down a fantastic course.
Xtreme and Ultra Ziplines
These ziplines are some of the best around, including the world’s steepest which will get you up to speeds of 50 mph.
