As Utah’s largest ski resort and one of the five largest resorts in North America, the Canyons has 3,700 acres of diverse terrain spreading across 8 beautiful mountains.  Visiting Utah’s largest resort means you can easily ski or board all day without seeing the same trail twice.  The Canyons is home to the highest summit in Park City at 9990’ and serves all black diamond and double-black terrain.  The Canyons also earned a #13 rating from Ski Magazine Readers.

Intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders will love the vast and varied terrain of the resort.  Beginners will enjoy the High Meadows lift dedicated to ‘green’ terrain and beginner runs high up on the mountain, above the high-speed Gondola.  The Snow Canyon Terrain Park, sponsored by SOBE, brings the halfpipe, rails, multiple hits and new sound system to a higher elevation for better natural snow conditions and more extensive snowmaking.

When the Canyons Resort recently added outstanding intermediate and advanced terrain on the northern edge of the resort, the “DreamCatcher” lift enabled access to an additional 200 acres of pristine gladed tree runs and natural trails near the “DreamScape” lift.  This is one of the many scenic areas of the resort and relatively undiscovered.  Closer to the middle of the resort, the “Tombstone” lift was upgraded to a high-speed “6-pack” lift (6 passenger detachable lift) for faster access to the southern half of the resort. The resort also upgraded and expanded Red Pine Lodge for enhanced on-mountain dining and refreshments.
