Park City Mountain Resort ~ Utah Skiing & Lodging
Park City Mtn Resort is rated #4 in North America
in the 2009 Ski Magazine Readers’ Poll
NEW in past year: A new high-speed quad replaced the Ski Team chair as part of a total of $10 million in upgrades including a remodeled Mid-Mountain Restaurant!
As one of the largest and most varied mountain resorts in the country, PCMR offers so much for virtually any kind of skier or boarder that families and groups of friends find it easy to please everyone here. This is one of the only places in the world where you can ride a ski lift right from the middle of town (the Town Lift base station is between Main Street and Park Avenue) and then ski right back down into town (the Town Ski Bridge brings the Quittin’ Time ski trail right back to Main St. and the base of the Town Lift). Many of our guests love to stay at the convenient properties nestled right around the Town Lift, including the Caledonian, Lift Lodge, Town Lift, Park Station, and Town Pointe condominiums. It forms another “resort center” on Main St. with all the advantages of easy ski access plus the myriad dining, shopping, gallery, and nightlife options on Main St.
Park City Mountain Resort celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2008! PCMR’s resort village is located 1/2 mile from Main Street and features five lifts getting skiers and boarders off to a quick start. Check out a variety of great lodging options right around the resort.
Park City Mountain Resort continually wins top ratings and accolades for its terrain parks, high-speed lift network, and a multitude of varied bowls and runs for all abilities. This year PCMR was recognized (for the FOURTH consecutive year!) as #1 in North America for terrain parks by the Transworld Snowboarder magazine!
Park City’s three resorts once again enjoyed high rankings in the 2009-10 SKI Magazine’s Reader’s Poll! The discerning readers of SKI magazine have officially declared their adoration for Park City’s three world-class resorts – The Canyons Ski Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Ski Resort. Every September the magazine’s highly anticipated Reader’s Poll issue hits the newsstands and informs the world of how ski resorts rank in the opinions of its knowledgeable readers. Park City’s resorts all rated among the best in the land, with Deer Valley Resort topping the list at #1, Park City Mountain Resort at #4 and The Canyons Resort always in the top 20.
