Why did you choose Park City, Utah for your second home? What about Park City appeals to you?
We carefully considered other ski destinations but none had the combination of world class skiing, convenient and reliable access, and mountain town amenities. Park City has it all, and since there are so many mountains to choose from, you?ll never suffer from crowds or lack of variety. Plus Utah has the best snow on earth!
What specifically do you enjoy about the location of your home?
The best thing about our home is the convenience of its location. We are directly on the bus route and it is a 1 minute ride to Snowpark Lodge. The bus stop is right at the property no walking up the street to the bus stop. No lugging skis and gear or loading and unloading the car. After a long day on the slopes, it's an equally short ride back to our home. It's so convenient if feels like a personal shuttle. Also, we are a 5 minute walk to Main Street's great bars, restaurants and spas or take the bus.
What is exceptional about your second home?
Our 3 bedroom 3 bath home features unpretentious mountain contemporary furnishings with hand-scraped hickory hard wood floors throughout the unit. Our home feels light and spacious. Also, the living room features a wall mounted high definition Sharp LCD TV and speakers for ipod/iphone connection, as well as TVs in each bedroom.
Our home was built in 1997 and is approximately 1,400 square feet featuring a convenient layout with the spacious living area open to the kitchen for a communal experience. Nobody will be left out of the conversation when gathered around the gas fireplace, watching TV, playing cards, or cooking a meal. When it's time to retire for the evening, the bedrooms are private and quiet. Others can stay up while you go to sleep on a separate floor. The master bedroom is on the top floor.
We've been visiting Park City since 2002. It's a wonderful place for the family to gather and there is no shortage of things to do for everyone.
