We have been coming to Park City for the last 11 years and have stayed at 111 Daly for the month of August 8 or 9 times. We definately know the home so know what to expect when we come. The location is perfect for walking to all in-town activities: shops, restaurants, library, church and trolly and bus service. Like staying in a neighborhood and we have come to know some of the friendly neighbors. Enjoy the extra space for our daughters and grandchildren to visit. Very comfortable. We had a couple of incidents that we needed to call maintenance for (furnace needed repair and a clogged drain in the upstairs tub) both were taken care of the same day. The home is kept up well -- however not as clean on this last visit as it had been in the past. The downstairs carpeting is definately in need of help -- don't know if it can take another deep cleaning -- think replacement is the answer. We also feel the back deck could be so much more useable with some outdoor furniture. Have already reserved the property for next August so, see you then!! Carole Shores
We chose Park City for a second home/vacation rental so that our children could learn to ski and snowboard during the winter season and enjoy the beautiful summers. Many Park City residents say they moved there for the world famous Utah powder and have stayed for the summers – mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking and just enjoying the beautiful scenery and temperate climate. It's the perfect place for a family with different levels and interests.
111 Daly is a duplex located in Old Town Park City, a few hundred yards up the hill from Main Street. It is a short walk to many of the area’s best eating establishments. The trolley stop is at the bottom of Daly Avenue; less than a three minute walk. Deer Valley and Park City are equidistance, about a 5 minute drive and easily reached through the Park City bus system. The Canyons Resort is about 15 minutes by car and also reachable through the bus system.
The home is nicely decorated, 1,950 square feet, three bedrooms, two full baths with an additional half bath downstairs. It can sleep eight, if the fold out couch in the living room is included. The home was built in 1992. There are queen beds in two of the bedrooms and two single beds in the third. Park City Lodging has the capability to combine the single beds to a “California King”. The master bath has a jetted tub. The attached garage accommodates a single car with room in the driveway for an additional vehicle. There is wireless and Ethernet connection to the internet available.
Daly Canyon is a popular biking and hiking destination and the wilderness is just minutes up the street. The back yard is adjacent to open space - a pine and scrub oak forested hillside. Some winters we have built a luge run down the hillside behind the house, ending on our back porch.
It’s a great home and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
