Canyon Crossing 5 is a 2500 sq. ft., three-story, townhome located in a quiet and convenient cul-de-sac in the Prospector Square neighborhood of Park City, Utah.  It is ideally situated for everything Park City has to offer year-round, including easy access to Deer Valley Resort, Canyons Resort and Heber Valley. The skiing, snowboarding and zip lining (summer) slopes of Park City Mountain Resort are within a 5 minute drive.  Park City’s free town-wide shuttle route is nearby; however, a car is also recommended.  Silver Mountain Sports Club & Spa, which offers day passes to the public, is located across the Rail Trail. A movie theater, 2 major supermarkets, a liquor store and drug store are close by as well.

This townhome has mountain views from 2 levels and a private hot tub, which is just outside the family room on the lowest level.  The family room has a full bath, gas fireplace, pool table, HDTV, books, board games and 2 queen sofa sleepers.  The main level has a wood burning fireplace in the living room, a BBQ grill on the balcony, and a fully equipped granite kitchen with seating for 11. There is also a ½ bath and private washer and dryer on the main level.  The upper level features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.  The master suite has a king bed, desk and a jetted tub.  The guest room has 2 twin beds and a new 32” HDTV with Blue-Ray and streaming video.  The second guestroom has a queen bed, HDTV and a new DVD player.  Electronics include 5 TVs, new DVD players, 2 Bose stereos, iPhone/iPod attachments, iPod charger, hair dryers and 3 humidifiers. There is a one car garage that has ski racks, a boot/glove warmer and driveway parking for one more vehicle.  High speed wireless Internet access is available throughout the home.

The yard of Canyon Crossing 5 borders the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail.  It is no longer used for trains but its miles of paved and unpaved surfaces connect to other trails.  Considered a paradise for outdoor enthusiast singles and families year- round, it is enjoyed by visitors and residents alike.  Bike rentals are available nearby or you can enjoy a walk or jog.  There are 2 close access paths (one at the beginning of the cul-de-sac and a wider mulched path one minute down the street) or simply walk up the incline in the yard.

Canyon Crossing 5 is a non-smoking home.  It is between Canyon Crossing 4 and 6, which makes this property an ideal location for multiple families or a large group visiting Park City together.

Our group of 9 had a great time in Park City. We have stayed in this development before and like the location and size. We had a few issues with this particular unit. There was not a DVD player in the greatroom and the only room that had a working DVD player was a bedroom w/ twin beds. We had rented a bunch of movies and ended up returning them unseen. Also we had an issue w/ the hot water. After 2 showers the water was cold. We had to wait close to an hr before we had more hot water avail. The unit is very large and clean and it is in a good location. We would stay in this develpoment again, but pick a different unit.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate your feedback. In response to this, the owner has added working DVD players in all rooms with a television. Also, the hot water heater has been replaced.

    Great location and fantastic layout

I can't say enough about how ideal this condo was. First, it's right in Park City, 3 min. from the grocery store, 5 min. from the downtown area, and less than 10 min. from the 3 Park City mountains. As long as you have a car, it's simple to get anywhere. Second, the space works so well for a large group. The photos of this condo don't do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised at how much nicer it was in person. We slept 9 people comfortably, and the 3 young girls all slept in the basement / rec room area on pull-out couches. This room is huge and has a large TV, pool table, etc. so the kids were thrilled. The main floor has an open floor plan and dinner table seating for 8 plus barstools, so there's ample room for a big group. The fireplace and private hot tub worked great. The price was right too. I plan to stay here next year. No need to find something better when this was a sure thing. Also, the management company was wonderful and helpful and ran over once to let us in when we locked ourselves out!

Thank you for writing a review of your recent stay at Canyon Crossing 5. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and invite you to come back soon! Sincerely, Park City Lodging, Inc.

Why did you choose Park City for your second home? What about Park City appeals to you?

My husband and I are from the northeast and met and live in south Florida. We have 3 children who are now young adults. We started skiing in New England but got tired of the rain, ice and long drives on slippery roads. We also visited Kitzbuhl, Tahoe, Breckenridge, Vail and Park City (condos and timeshares). Due to Park City's great winter and spring skiing, kind instructors and nannies, reasonable prices and convenience to the airport we visited Park City 7 times. We just felt at home.

What specifically do you enjoy about the location of your home?

After the Olympics, I found a friendly real estate agent. I wanted a newer condo or townhome that wasn't up any hills, a safe neighborhood for the children to play outside - bike, sled, walk, etc., preferably in a peaceful cul-de-sac bordering government land that can't be developed, balconies to dine on with a view, near grocery stores and doctors, walk to free trolley, lots of room for playing indoors, garage, our own washer and dryer, 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, 2 fireplaces and the list went on.

What is interesting or unique about your home?

This will be our part time retirement home so we wanted excellent quality in everything. A Park City decorator helped with our furniture selections and chose the paint colors. We can accommodate 10 guests in a king, queen, 2 twin beds and 2 queen sofa beds. Some main level windows are tinted for privacy and the summer sun. The furniture is comfortable and all of our rooms are uncluttered. My husband excitedly purchased 5 televisions, 2 Bose stereos with Iphone/Ipad attachments, Ipod docking station, high speed internet and other electronics. He also chose a pool table and other games, books, videos and dvds for our family room, plus an outside hot tub, and gas fireplace. Photography is his hobby and Utah's scenery is breathtaking year round. The art is from local stores and the art festival. Our granite kitchen is fully equipped and a barbecue is on the balcony. A jetted tub is in the master bath. Hair dryers and humidifiers are supplied. A picnic cooler, boot warmer, ski racks and wood for the main level fireplace are in the garage. We love exploring our neighborhood and relaxing in our spacious conveniently located home! Mi casa, es su casa.

    Additional Comments:

This 3 story, 2500 sq. ft. townhome has it all. The Historic Rail Trail is in our back yard. It connects with many other trails (research online). The free trolley is a short walk across the Rail Trail, however we always have a car and recommend guests also have a car. Galleries, golf, spas, gourmet restaurants, casual restaurants, consignment stores (occasional great bargains), ice skating and the Park City slopes are a 5 minute drive away. Deer Valley and the Canyons are an extra 5 minutes. We go to the Heber Valley to snorkel, scuba dive, golf (outstanding), take horse drawn sleigh rides, and fly-fish at the famous Provo River. Look for our cookbooks and the scenic drives book. The all-day drive to Mirror Lake ending up in Wyoming (stay on paved road) is incredible in the summer. Moab, and its national parks including the Arches, is about a 5 hour drive. Be sure to pack food, drinks, and cameras.
